<p>The value of the deal is not yet known, but Psychiatric Solutions, with a market capitalisation of some USD1.35bn (EUR990m), is seeking to get a premium of 25% to its market price. Psychiatric Solutions stock was trading at nearly USD24 on Wednesday. The company has USD1.2bn debt, which would have to be included in any deal.</p>
<p>An agreement is expected in a week, but, according to the sources, there is no guarantee that talks would not fail despite their advanced stage.</p>
